Julia's First Homecoming

I can't believe my youngest sister is old enough to have
her first homecoming!

I am so OLD!

But, of course,
how exciting for her!

My sister worked her magic with the tremendous
amount of hair she has-GORGEOUS!

And when all was said and done
she made one stunning-
MODEST-
young lady who was ready
to dance the night away!

Julia,
I love you so much!

Continue to develop those amazing talents of yours,
remember what is important,
and how precious you are in the sight of God!

We love you!

Happy Birthday Owen, Gabriel, & Julia!

I think this picture of my boys looks so, so funny!

Here they are at the ripe old age for four & two,
and yet I can look at this picture
and easily fast-forward to when they're forty-four & forty-two-
and get a good idea of what they'll look like then!

I dearly hope they continue to be a little GOOFY...

...a WHOLE lot of fun...

...and the very BEST of friends!

How is that they're so nice and composed for a picture with dad...

...and so silly and squirmy with mom?

The waiting is finally over...

 C H E C K  I T  O U T !

Superheros in the house!

We HIGHLY recommend this set from Amazon-
which is very reasonably priced!

If you're interested,
check it out here!

Since the boys birthday's are in the summer,
or in our house,
- C A M P I N G  S E A S O N -
s'more's are the way to go!

Yup,
that's all that were left,
and even these last morsels were snatched up by sticky fingers!

We're so fortunate to have both our families in town,
so we celebrated yet again with even more grandma's!

Aunt Julia turned sweet-fourteen!

H A P P Y  B I R T H D A Y,  B E A T I F U L !

Sigh.

Another year has come and gone.

Owen & Gabriel,

You are,
and always will be,
my "two boys!"

We love you both so much,
and it is a joy to watch you grow.

All our love,
Mom & Dad

(...and your three other little momma's too!)

Tres Hermanas

I love getting together with my sisters,
and unfortunately,
it's not often enough.

Thankfully,
with the leisure of summer,
there's a little more flexibility in the schedule
for getting together.

Today,
we traveled to Marysville for
a little fun in the sun!

{I love how Ava begins and ends this journey...}

We ate some snacks on the lawn before we hit the water...

Ava & Taylor

We took a break for lunch...

...and Taylor made me laugh!

I was teasing her for having sleepy eyes...

...so she obliged me with opening up those beautiful peepers!

{How do I have blond-haired and blue-eyed nieces?!?}

Owen's up on his water consumption!

And Gabriel's down with keeping the bod protected from the sun!

{Such health-conscious boys!}

Now we just have to work on keeping your food IN your mouth...

Beautiful girls:

Isabella and my younger sister,
Julia Maria Sabrina!

Gabe's a total baby about getting in the water.

When it was almost time to go,
that's when he wanted to
mosey on over to the water.

Water-fun was short-lived.

This boy thrives on a different kind of liquid...

We had a great time, Sophia!

Thanks for having us out,
and we definitely need to do this again!

{Sweet dreams, Ava!}

Corvettes, Dodge Vipers, & even a Lamborghini!

My sister recently stayed the night with us and we headed to the Fountains for some water fun. We had a horrible time finding a parking spot, but soon found out why:

An Auto Show!

When we passed the Lamborghini I could not help laughing at the grown men going ga-ga over it. One guy even asked someone to take his picture with it!

Are they really that big a deal?

The best part about walking around was hearing all the people whisper about how many children we had. They all thought my 12-year old sister was my daughter too!

Rats!
No water feature due to the disco dance lessons they were giving on the stage! The kids quickly got over their disappointment as we all became mesmerized by the music and dancing. It was really, really entertaining!

Some ladybug fun!

I thought our trip was pretty fun, but guess who slept through it all?

Here's to fun in the sun!
